# Who Am I? - Defining myself in the midst of the storm

It has been awhile since I “spoke” with you last. I hope that the first month of 2017 has gone well for you. For me, there have been many changes. Without going into details, suffice it to say that I have had to step back and take a look at the direction I was taking in my life. I had to take a look back and make sure that I liked how my actions, words, decisions, etc. defined me.
I found in some instances, I did not like how they defined me. I found that I was getting caught up in other people’s views about certain situations, particularly politics, that were not totally in alignment with who I had defined myself to be to that point; and who I wanted to continue to define myself to be. It took a lot of soul searching to really become firm on how I wanted to handle certain situations. I basically wanted to handle them more from a spiritual perspective then from an action-oriented perspective.
I want to be at the forefront of a spiritual awakening in our society. In a society that is awakened to it’s own innate power to be, do and have what it desires. A society where one does not feel victimized; one feels empowered to make the changes that are needed to become the person they desire and to do whatever they desire. That includes taking care of their health, their emotional well-being, their abundance, etc. In this way, individuals are empowered and collectively we have a society of more awakened people.
As a result, societal systems we have in place that were collectively put into place by unawakened individuals can no longer exist in their current form. The societal systems will have to change in the face of a shift in the members of the society. As you can see, I desire to be at the forefront of a grassroots spiritual awakening. That is the work that I do and will continue to do. I strongly believe, that one spiritually connected awakened person has more power to evoke change then many unconscious individuals.
Having taken the time to get back to my roots and come back home per se to my definition of who I am, I feel I can continue to inspire and awaken others to their own innate power to heal. For one cannot truly inspire from a place of misalignment with their true self. One must be in alignment.
