We ask ourselves, "Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?" Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others. - Marianne Williamson*
This quote says a lot in a concise and profound way. Take some time and reflect on these words. Do you find yourself shrinking in the presence of other people? Do you feel that you are worthy of whatever you dream for yourself? Are you too afraid to let your own light shine?
As you know at Seek Within You, strengthening your connection to your inner guides is an important part of Becoming the best version of Yourself. In light of that, take the time to ask your inner guides to point out to you, what is holding you back from attaining your goals. Just talk to them as if they are your “friend from the spiritual realm”. Ask for clear signs that you will understand so that you can become aware. Awareness can often lead to a breakthrough for many on the path of greatness.
