# Spiritual Guidance for Motivation

How persistent are you when it comes to your goals? Do you find that you have moments of lack of motivation? Do you find that you are too busy to do what you desire?
> One of the first steps to “get yourself back on track” is to surrender to what is in this moment.
Many times there is a tendency to resist what is happening. The resistance comes in many forms, such as observing what you don’t like about what you are doing. For instance, continually observing and nagging yourself for not doing enough.
Well we know from the law of attraction perspective, that what you get in life is due to your focus. If you focus on not being motivated, then you will continue to not be motivated. If you focus on not doing enough, then you will continue to not do enough. If you continue to focus on having a lack of energy, then you will continue to have a lack of energy. As a result, it is imperative to just surrender to what is at this moment. “I accept my current level of motivation, but I know it will improve with help from my spiritual guides.”
After you surrender to what is in this moment, break the cycle, by asking your spiritual guides for assistance. Ask your spiritual guides for the motivation to do what it is that you desire to do. They are here to assist you in your evolution so call upon them. We all have spiritual guides/inner guides/source within us but we must strengthen the connection in order to benefit from the connection.
To strengthen my connection with my inner guides, one of my favorite intentions for the morning is “Thank you IAM for the motivation and inspiration to take my life and business to the next level.” I place this intention on my vision board and say it every day. I then let it go and allow my inner guides to motivate and inspire me in whatever way is necessary. It always amazes me how it happens. Today I was motivated to make some kale chips, start another kombucha cycle, stretch, sing, write articles, create some graphics and play with my cats. This is just within the first 2 hours of the day and I am excited to see what else happens! Try it for yourself, and you will be amazed at the shift that will occur in your life to cause you to stay on track.
There is no need to bulldoze your way through a project because you are not motivated. Remember, it is best to act from a place of alignment. The best way is to do this is to surrender and to consciously create the reality in which you desire to experience. Persistence, not power (unaligned action) is key.
