Spring is traditionally thought of as the time of cleaning. A time to clean out the "stuffy house" that has been closed away for the winter and bring in the fresh, clean energy of spring. From a spiritual perspective, spring cleaning can be more than just cleaning out your house. The idea and sentiment of spring cleaning can be used as a springboard for you to clean out some “old emotional baggage” and start the process of “blossoming’ and “blooming” for the upcoming warm season.
As we discussed before, old emotional baggage affects your mental/emotional, physical as well as spiritual health. Your mental/emotional state affects your physical and spiritual state; your physical state affects your mental/emotional and spiritual state; and your spiritual state affects your physical and mental/emotional state. Since all areas of health are interrelated, suffices to say that **if you work on one area of your life, it will have an affect on the other**.
### One simple exercise for “Spiritual Spring Cleaning”
Make a list of what you feel is in your subconscious mind by reviewing what patterns you feel you recreate in your life. For instance, do you find that you constantly recreate lack in your life? Do you find that you recreate a chaotic schedule in your personal life? Do you constantly second-guess yourself because of fear?
While of course, from a Law of Attraction Perspective, we will not continuously focus on these; however, we will take a moment to be aware of what you have created thus far. Knowledge in this sense is power. Knowing and becoming aware of your previous habits, can be eye-openers into what you wish to change or "re-do" for the future.
