# Law of Attraction Weekly Thought 79

Fear is a choice, although it may not seem that way. It may seem like fear is a natural way to react to certain situations. It may also feel like fear is appropriate in certain situations.
Note: Fear can either be an instantaneous reaction or something that lies deep within you - a state that is hidden in your subconscious state.
Fear is a low vibrational state and denotes your level of consciousness. Using our vibrational scale of 0 to 100; zero is the lowest vibrational level and 100 is the highest. The numbers are arbitrary but help to tell the story. The closer you are to 100, the closer you are to your true nature and your connection to source. Fear is a very low vibration of less than 20. When you are vibrating on the level of fear, you are a long distance from stepping into your power as a creative being.
When there is fear, there is no trust. When you are solid or grounded in your state as a creative being, there is nothing to fear. When you are grounded in your connection to source, there is nothing to fear. When you are grounded, you understand the nature of what has been created and what confronts you in this moment.
Of course, these statements in many ways seem philosophical and may not appear to be appropriate to the daily lives of many. However, we promise you that if you start walking in your true light, you will begin to see that fear is a choice. You don’t have to own fear, and fear doesn’t have to own you. You can be a powerful creator and understand that you have a choice on what feelings you choose.
Remember [feelings are signs from source](https://www.seekwithinyou.com/blogs/266-law-of-attraction-weekly-thought-72) of your state of alignment and how much you are allowing. If you have feelings of fear, that means your thoughts are out of alignment. What you are thinking, either consciously but most likely subconsciously, it not true.
If you are noticing fear, then you can steadily choose a higher vibrational thoughts to evoke feelings that get you back into alignment. The more you choose a higher vibrational thought, the more you begin to reprogram your subconscious mind to think differently. Then it will become more apparent on how fear is a choice.
